With some structures capturing the appearance and feel of the imagined past, the entrance of Tokyo DisneySea, recreates the world of an Italian port city. The “active “ volcano in the background, located in a recreation of the fictitious Mysterious Island, mimics the Mt. Fuji present in the image depicted by Hiroshige.

The Tokyo Disney Resort is a theme park and vacation resort located in Urayasu, Chiba, Japan, just east of Tokyo. The resort opened on April 15, 1983, as a single theme park (Tokyo Disneyland), later developing into a resort with a second theme park (Tokyo DisneySea). Tokyo Disneyland was the first Disney theme park to open outside the United States.
